VSP18 vs VSP25 vs VSP35: Which Plaster Spray Machine Is Right for Your Project?

Choosing the right plaster spray machine depends on more than maximum output. Contractors should also consider the material being applied, available power supply, required spraying distance, grain size and daily production targets.

This comparison reviews three VIXTRON equip models: the VSP18, VSP25 and VSP35. Each machine is designed for different project requirements, so the most powerful model is not automatically the best choice for every jobsite.

VSP18 Texture and Plaster Spraying Machine

The VSP18 is the most compact option in this comparison. It operates on a 220V power supply and delivers up to 18 litres per minute at a maximum working pressure of 30 bar.

Its integrated 1500W air compressor provides 300 litres per minute, while the machine supports materials with a maximum grain size of 3 mm and spraying heights up to 20 metres.

The VSP18 plaster spraying machine is a practical choice for contractors handling small to medium projects where portability, standard 220V power and controlled material output are important.

Choose the VSP18 when:

  • The jobsite provides a 220V electrical supply.
  • A delivery rate of 18 L/min is sufficient.
  • The material grain size does not exceed 3 mm.
  • The required spraying height is no more than 20 metres.
  • You need a compact machine with an integrated compressor.

VSP25 Texture and Plaster Spraying Machine

The VSP25 offers a step up in performance while retaining the convenience of a 220V power supply. It delivers up to 25 litres per minute, reaches a maximum working pressure of 45 bar and supports spraying heights up to 25 metres.

Like the VSP18, it includes a 1500W integrated air compressor rated at 300 litres per minute and handles materials with grain sizes up to 3 mm.

The VSP25 plaster spraying machine provides a balanced solution for contractors who need higher output and pressure without moving to a three-phase 380V dry-mix machine.

Choose the VSP25 when:

  • You need more output than the VSP18 can provide.
  • The project requires up to 45 bar of working pressure.
  • The spraying height may reach 25 metres.
  • A 220V power supply is available.
  • You want an integrated compressor and a higher-capacity system.

VSP35 Dry Mix Spray Plaster Machine

The VSP35 is designed for higher-capacity dry-mix plaster applications. It operates on a 380V power supply and uses a rotor–stator worm pump system to deliver up to 35 litres per minute at a maximum working pressure of 50 bar.

It supports materials with grain sizes up to 6 mm, which is double the maximum supported grain size of the VSP18 and VSP25. The machine also includes a 115-litre mixing drum, a water pump capacity of 3.6 m³/h and spraying ranges of up to 40 metres horizontally and 20 metres vertically.

With a total weight of 220 kg, the VSP35 dry mix spray plaster machine is intended for larger construction projects where higher production capacity and an integrated mixing system are more important than compact size.

Choose the VSP35 when:

  • The project uses compatible dry-mix plaster materials.
  • A 380V electrical supply is available on site.
  • You need output up to 35 L/min.
  • The material grain size may reach 6 mm.
  • Longer horizontal pumping distances are required.
  • The project requires a 115-litre integrated mixing drum.

Key Differences Between the Three Models

1. Power Supply

The VSP18 and VSP25 operate on 220V, making them suitable for sites where standard electrical power is available. The VSP35 requires 380V, so contractors must confirm the jobsite power supply before selecting it.

2. Delivery Rate

The maximum delivery rates are 18 L/min for the VSP18, 25 L/min for the VSP25 and 35 L/min for the VSP35. Higher output can improve productivity, but only when the crew, material supply and application requirements can support it.

3. Material Grain Size

Both the VSP18 and VSP25 support grain sizes up to 3 mm. The VSP35 handles grain sizes up to 6 mm, making it suitable for a wider range of compatible dry-mix plaster materials.

4. Mixing System

The VSP35 includes a 115-litre mixing drum and water pump, creating a more complete dry-mix processing system. The VSP18 and VSP25 are texture and plaster spraying machines with integrated air compressors, but their configuration differs from the VSP35 dry-mix system.

5. Project Scale

The VSP18 is suitable for controlled small and medium applications. The VSP25 offers a strong balance between 220V convenience and increased productivity. The VSP35 is intended for larger projects that require higher output, larger grain compatibility and longer pumping distances.

Which VSP Plaster Machine Should You Choose?

  • Choose VSP18 for compact operation, moderate production requirements and 220V jobsites.
  • Choose VSP25 for higher output and pressure while continuing to use a 220V supply.
  • Choose VSP35 for large dry-mix plastering projects with 380V power, higher capacity and longer pumping requirements.

Before purchasing a machine, confirm the exact material specification, required output, pumping distance, vertical height, electrical supply and cleaning requirements. Matching the machine to the actual jobsite conditions helps improve productivity and reduce unnecessary downtime.
